Alright, we're back for a summer edition of Trail Talks. Yes, it's the week after July 4th, but let's be honest: the long weekend leaves a mark… and this is the perfect blend of "I'm still doing work" without having to sit behind a desk.
We're keeping our featured founder and investor under wraps until one week before the walk, so stay tuned for the reveal.
Moving forward, we're also going to be featuring a charity every week. This walk we'll hear from Andrea Olvera with CASA - an incredible group of volunteers that advocate for children who’ve experienced abuse or neglect as they navigate the court system.

Join this collaboration between ATX Outsiders and December Yaupon this locally-sourced version of a classic coffee chat.
December Yaupon cofounder Ian McCluskey will take us on an interactive journey into Yaupon's past, and what it has to offer for people living today.
We'll start with a tasting of December's (Regenerative Organic) Yaupon Nitro Cold Brew to get everyone energized for the trail. As we explore Bull Creek Preserve, we'll learn about the history of Yaupon and why there's so dang much of it in Texas. Finally, we'll do some foraging and Ian will share just how to cure, roast, grind and brew Yaupon at home for a cup of good local caffeine.
8:00am: Gather in the Lower Bull Creek/ Bull Creek Preserve parking lot off of Winding Ridge Blvd
8:10am: Yaupon Nitro Cold Brew Tasting begins
